George V British Army officer's sword with wire bound shark skin grip, scrolled and pierced armorial hilt, engraved fullered blade marked 'Robert Mole & Sons Birmingham', within metal leather covered scabbard with Sam Browne belt, frog and shoulder strap. Sword engraved 'LT ERNEST RENDELL 5th FUSILIERS'. Together with a book by Peacock, Basil; 'The Royal Northumberland Fusiliers', 1970 and a collection of Northumberland Fusilier related items; buttons, badges, belt buckle and rank pips.

Provenance: belonged to Ernest Rendell who survived both World Wars and passed away in the 1960's
